I was flying to Moscow.

I flew to Moscow for the International Jurgenson Competition.

I liked streets and houses and people of Moscow very much but, this competition treated me(us) harshly.
Our works were judged by the performance of the rehearsal!
There is no sense in our composers going to Moscow.
I demand honest judge for the future.

ユルゲンソン国際作曲賞のためにモスクワに行ってきました。
モスクワの街並みや人々には好感を持ちましたが、この作曲賞には嫌な思いをさせられました。
我々のリハーサルでの演奏が審査対象となったからです。
これでは作曲家がモスクワへ行くことの意味がありません。
今後のためにも全うな審査方法を要請します。

In a recording studio

I went to Senzoku Gakuen College of Music for the recording of ”/tímbər/” with .Kenji Yamaguchi(Shakuhachi), Hiromi Shinoda and Kazumasa Ohya (Percussion) the other day.

The enthusiastic performance of three players will be released as a CD！
I'll inform it to you when this CD will be out.

It is sold in the case of "JAPANESE COMPOSERS 2011" held in Suntory hall Blue rose(small hall) on January 27.

Toward the autumn.

It is deep into the autumn.

My friend of composer, Stephen Yip visited Japan early this month from U.S.A.
We met after an interval of three years!!!
I went to the concert with him and I had a lunch and had a really good time.
I look forward to that I can meet him again.

By the way, October 18 is my birthday, I'll appear in a radio program from this day to 22.
But all the members don't listen to this program with a it by the broadcasting station of Yamaguchi that is my home town.


秋も深まって参りました。

今月上旬に友人の作曲家、ステファン・イェップ氏がアメリカよりやって来ました。
３年ぶりの再会で滞在中、彼とはコンサートに行ったり、ランチをしたりなど楽しい時間を過ごしました。
また会える日を楽しみにしています。

さて、10月18日は私の誕生日なのですが、この日から22日まで私はラジオ番組に出演します。
ただこの番組は私の実家、山口県の放送局によるもので全国的に聞けるわけではありません。
ですが、山口近県の方々。お暇でしたら『おはようＫＲＹ』をお聞き下さい。
