I appriciate your wonderful blog.

Recently,we rarely use the word "beauty contest",because beauty donen't make special sense in this context. Beauty is not the essence.

So we use the word"コンペ" or "公開審査" if in Japanese.

Beauty is not essence in this context,and its meaning is ambviguous.It is better not to use the ambiguous words so that readers can
understand what you are thinking.In addition,we don't have to use sexual words.

So recently we come to refrain from using the word"beauty contest".
