Akasawa woods in Kiso

My wife was in the mood to walk the cold place. So we went to Akasawa woods in Kiso. We got to there before 9:00am. There were many parking spaces available. But in the afternoon, the parking lots were full with the cars.

It was very fine day today. But it was very comfortable to walk because most of the nature trails are covered with hinoki cypress. The air was cold. We couldn't believe that. There are many kinds of trails in Akasawa woods. We have achieved walking the all of the trails. Most of the slopes were the gentle slopes. It was easy to walk.

赤沢自然休養林

妻が涼しい場所を歩きたいと言うので木曽の赤沢自然休養林へ行った。9時前に到着したら駐車場はガラガラ。しかし、お昼頃には満車になっていた。

今日は非常に良い天気で暑かったが、遊歩道はヒノキに覆われているので非常に快適だった。空気がひんやりしている。信じられない。ここにはたくさんのコースがあるが、今日は全コースを制覇した。殆どの坂が緩斜面だったので結構歩くのは楽だった。

Kirigamine trek / Shampooed Lisa

I went to Kirigamine to enjoy trekking. I walked around Yashimagahara area today. It was fine day, but I didn't feel hot. Maybe the temperature would be not high because the altitude of this place was high.

The road condition was good as the rainy season had finished. Akabanashimotsuke flowers were in full bloom. Yanagiran flowers have started to bloom. I found Matsumushisou flowers sometimes. The flower is autumn flower. The autumn is coming up soon in the plateau area.

After I came home, I shampooed Lisa. It's been a year since the last time I shampooed her. Her hair became wooly like a stuffed animal. And she gave off a good smell.



霧ヶ峰トレッキング / Lisaをシャンプー

霧ヶ峰へトレッキングに行った。今日は八島ヶ原近辺を散策。晴れていたが、あまり暑さは感じなかった。多分標高が高かったからかもしれない。

梅雨も上がり、歩道のコンディションは良好。アカバナシモツケは満開、ヤナギランも咲き始めていた。時々マツムシソウが咲いているのを見かけた。この花は秋の花。高原の秋はもうそこまで来ている。

帰宅後、１年ぶりにLisaをシャンプーした。ぬいぐるみのようなほわほわの毛になり、いい匂いになった。

THE VILLAGE OF LILY

My wife and I went to THE VILLAGE OF LILY in FUJIMI KOGEN again. Only the farthest parking lots were available. I parked there. It was fine when I got to there. After a while, there was shower. So I took a rest and was waiting for the rain stops. About 30 minutes later, the sky was starting to clear up. I started to walk around the garden.

There were many kinds of flowers and they were in full bloom. The lilies were very gorgeous. I've never seen the sight like this.

ゆりの里

妻と再び富士見高原ゆりの里へ行った。一番通り駐車場だけが空いていたのでそこへ駐車。着いた時は晴れていたのに、しばらくするとにわか雨。仕方がないのでレストハウスで休憩して雨が止むのを待った。30分もすると晴れ間が見えてきたので、再び散策を開始。

たくさんの種類のゆりが満開。豪華の一言。こんな光景は見たことが無かった。

A three-day weekend

Luckily, I hvae a three-day weekend this week. It was fine day today even though it was in the middle of rainy season. So my wife and I went to Kirigamine to enjoy Nikkoukisuge flowers. I thought it would be very crowded there. But today was a weekday. It would be all right if I got to there before 7am. I realized that I was wrong when I got to there. The parking lot was full with the cars. It was before 7am! I couldn't believe that. Fortunately, a car pulled out of the parking lot. I could pull into there.

Nikkoukisuge flowers were in full bloom now. I went to there last year as well. It seems that there were many flowers more than last year.

3連休

ラッキーなことに今週は3連休。しかも梅雨なのに晴れ。なので妻と霧ヶ峰へニッコウキスゲを見に行った。多分混むと思ったが、平日なので7時前に着けば大丈夫だろうと思った。しかし、その考えは甘かった。朝7時前なのに既に駐車場は満車！信じられない。幸い、１台が出たのでそこへ駐車した。

ニッコウキスゲは満開だった。昨年より、今年は花の付きが良いように思えた。

Rainy Weekend

Basically, I stayed at home in this three-day weekend. It was cloudy today. I thought it would not rain today, so I decided to go to somewhere. My wife said that she was in the mood for having good lunch and going for a drive. First, we went to a Japanese food restaurant and had lunch. The price was 1000YEN. It was fair price.

Next, we went to THE VILLAGE OF LILY in FUJIMI KOGEN. I watched an ad of the park in the TV or something. There are many kinds of lilies and the flowers are in full bloom in there. But it was too early except a part of the area. The peak season would be in August. I wanna go there again.

雨の週末

基本的にこの３連休は家にいた。今日は曇り。今日は雨は降らないと思い、どこかへ出掛けることにした。妻は、美味しいお昼を食べてどこかへドライブへ行きたいと行った。最初、日本食レストランへ行ってランチを食べた。価格は1000円。内容を考えると安いと思った。

次に、富士見高原のゆりの里へ行った。テレビか何かでCMを見た。そこにはたくさんの種類のユリが咲いていて、満開だった気がする。しかし一部のエリアを除いて早過ぎた。ピークシーズンは8月。また来たいと思う。

Yunomarukogen trek

Today, I went to Yunomarukogen which is one of my favorite places. Yonomarukogen is famous for Komakusa(dicentra). It is small and produces pink flowers. The flowers were in full bloom now. It was gorgeous.

In Yunomarukogen, I like a bog area especially. But it was foggy. I couldn't take the brilliant green picture.

湯の丸高原トレッキング

今日は、お気に入りの場所の一つである湯の丸高原へトレッキングへ行った。湯の丸高原はコマクサで有名。コマクサは小さく、ピンク色の花を咲かせる。今は満開。見事だった。

湯の丸高原では、特に湿原エリアが好き。しかし、霧だった。鮮やかな緑は撮影できなかった。

Utsukukushigahara / Gosensui Nature Sanctuary trek

Long time no see. It has been about two months since the last time I wrote the blog. Once I skipped out writing the blog, I've lost the incentive to write the one. I would continue to write it again.

Today my wife and I got up in the early morning and went to Utsukushigahara to enjoy trekking. It was very fine day. The air was tremendous clear. I was able to see the faraway view. I was impressed with the sea cloud as well. I expected azalea flowers, but it was a little early.

I walked about 10Km. But I have enough time. I decided to go to nearby Gosensui Nature Sanctuary on the short notice. The sanctuary consists of the two areas. One area is the flat area. The other one is the mountain area. There is a precipitous zigzag in the mountain area. The best scenery is a small waterfall. But the waterfall is in the mountain area. I have walked the long distance in the Utsukushigahara. I was tired, but had started to go to there. On the way to the destination, my knees started quaking. I wondered if I can be back in the parking lot. At last I got to there. I took some pictures. The waterfall is surrounded with the forests. I used the tripod and release as it was darkness. The water flow image taken by the slow shutter was very beautiful.

美ヶ原／御泉水自然園トレッキング

久しぶりの日記。最後に書いてから約2ヶ月経ってしまった。一度サボると、なかなか書く気が起こらなくてそのまま。再び続けようかと思う。

今日は早起きして妻と美ヶ原へトレッキングへ。天気は快晴。空気は非常に澄んでいて、遠くの景色まで見通せた。雲海も見られたのがラッキー。期待していたツツジは少々早過ぎた。

約10Kmを歩いた後、時間に余裕があったので急遽近くの御泉水自然園に行くことに。この自然園は2つのエリアがあって、一つは平坦なコース。もう一つが急勾配な山コース。一番景色が良いのが山コースにある小さな滝。美ヶ原で既に長距離を歩いていたが、そこへ行くことにした。途中、膝が笑ってきて駐車場まで帰れるか不安だったけど、何とか目的地へ到着。何枚か写真を撮った。この滝は森に囲まれていて暗かったので、三脚とレリーズを使用。スローシャッターで撮影した水流が非常に綺麗に撮れた。

Komagane trek

SHO, one of my friends, told me about the good trek course in Komagane. And he gave me the map. My company was holiday today. So my wife and I went on a trek to there today. We parked our car at Kozen temple. We started going on a trek from here. First we went to Ohnuma pond. There were many cherry blossoms around the pond. Then we reached Komagane pond. Fortunately there was no cloud on the mountains. The scenery was pretty good. We walked long distance and enjoyed the first green of spring. On our return route, we came to a fork in a road in the forest. There was not the fork in the map. But I had the portable GPS. I found out where we should go. I realized that GPS devices were useful in a trek.

駒ヶ根トレッキング

知人のSHOさんが駒ヶ根の素敵なトレッキングコースを教えてくれて、地図もくれた。今日は会社が休み。それで今日はそこへ妻とトレッキングへ行った。光前寺に車を停めて、そこからスタート。最初に大沼池へ。池の周りをたくさんの桜が咲いていた。それから駒ヶ根池。幸運にも、山には雲は無し。素晴らしい風景だった。長い距離を歩き、新緑を堪能した。帰路の途中、森の中で地図には無い分岐点に差し掛かった。ハンディGPSのおかげで、進むべき道が分かった。トレッキングではGPSが役立つと実感した。

Cherry blossom-viewing in Azumino.

My wife and I got up at 5:00am and went to Azumino area to enjoy the cherry blossoms. It was raining in the early morning. But the weather became fine after 8:00am. We went to Anyouji, Matsumoto castle, Jouyama park, Kurosawa river and Hotaka river. I love Annyouji and Kurosawa river so much. The shape of the cherry blossom tree in Anyouji was very beautiful. There was a water-laden paddy in front of the cherry blossom. The surface of water reflected the pink color. It was good for the photo.

I took some pictures while taking a walk along the bank of Kurosawa river. Unfortunately Northern Alps was cloudy. So I couldn't take a picture of cherry blossoms against the Northern Alps. But we enjoyed beautiful pink colors.

安曇野桜ツアー

妻と５時起きで安曇野近辺の桜を楽しんできた。朝方雨が降っていたが、８時を過ぎたら晴れになった。安養寺、松本城、城山公園、黒沢川、そして穂高川へ行った。安養寺と黒沢川が特に気に入った。安養寺の桜の木は形が凄く良かった。また、桜の前にある水田の水面にピンク色が反射して絵になる。

黒沢川では堤防を歩きながら何枚か写真を撮った。残念なことに北アルプスは曇っていて、北アルプスを背景に写真を撮ることは出来なかった。綺麗なピンク色は堪能できたのだが…。

Cherry blossom-viewing in Yamanashi.

The cherry blossoms are beautiful now in Yamanashi. My wife and I went to there to enjoy the cherry blossoms. We went to Wanizuka, Shingentsuzumi, Jiunji, and Jitsusouji. The weather was not good. And a part of the cherry blossoms were a little early. In this time, I brought a GPS and recorded the track logs. The tracks we walked are below.

山梨桜ツアー

山梨は今桜が見頃なので妻と桜を見に行ってきた。わに塚の桜、信玄堤、慈雲寺、実相寺へ入ってきた。天気が悪かったのが残念。一部の桜は少々早め。今回はGPS(GARMIN GPSmap 60CSx,SONY GPS-CS1K)持参で歩いた道を記録した。地図は以下の通り。

Spring has come early this year.

It's been a month since the last time I wrote the blog. We had an abnormally warm winter this year. It was so warm today. So the flowers of Fukujusou(Amur adonis) were in full bloom at Shiga in Matsumoto now. Today, my wife and I went to there and enjoyed them. The festival of Fukujusou will start next week. But the peak season of the flowers might be finished next week.


今年は早く春が来た

一ヶ月ぶりのblog。今年は異常な暖冬だった。今日もとても暖か。そのため松本の四賀では福寿草が満開。今日は妻と出掛けて鑑賞してきた。福寿草祭りは来週から始まるけど、これじゃ来週はピークは終わってしまいそう…。

Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan Museum

My wife and I went to the Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan Museum in Hokuto city. To tell you the truth, we went there accidentally. We bought a new car yesterday, so we enjoyed the test drive. We went on a drive around Kobuchizawa, we saw some flags which were written "Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan". The flag is a Samurai banner. The "Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan" is tactics written by Sonshi in China. Takeda Shingen who was a Japanese Samurai used the Samurai banner as his symbol. The "Fu" means you move fast like strong wind, the "Rin" means you are silent like forests, the "Ka" means you attack furiously, the "Zan" means you never move like mountains.

NHK, Japanese TV station is broadcasting the Samurai TV drama of Takeda Shingen in this year. The museum is the set of the drama as well. A volunteer explained the set, TV program and history. His talking was very fun. We enjoyed it. I was very surprised that it took only a few months to build the old houses. But the inside of the ones was the shoddy construction. It doesn't work as the house. Recent TV program is broadcasting as the High-Density. You can see the details of the houses on TV. So they had to make the outside microscopically. For example, the texture of the roof and the color of the materials. Maybe the designer wanted to express the realistic texture of the houses. These houses assumed that it has passed over about 50 years since they were built. Certainly, it seemed that these were very old Samurai houses. Great.


風林火山館

妻と山梨県北杜市の風林火山館へ行った。というより実を言うと偶然辿り着いた。昨日新しい車が納車となったので、試乗兼ねてドライブへ出掛けた。小淵沢付近を走っていると、風林火山と書かれた軍旗が見えた。テレビを見ない、しかもアンチ地上波の私としては今年の大河ドラマが風林火山だったことさえ知らなかった。きっと何かのテーマパークかと思って入ってみたら、どうやら北杜市が作ったテーマパーク兼撮影セットらしい。入場料300円。中はボランティアが色々と説明してくれる。セットのことや、番組、歴史のことなど。驚いたことに、外見は立派なのだが、中身はトタンやベニヤ板が丸見えの手抜き工事。だから数ヶ月（だったと思う）という短期間で完成したらしい。それから最近のテレビはハイビジョンで放映されるので、細部が良く見えてしまうそうだ。そのため、外観は細部まで丁寧に作る必要があったとか。例えば屋根の質感とか素材の色とか。設計者は当時の家のリアルな感じを表現したかったらしい。家は建築後50年(だったかな？）が経過したように作ってあるそうだ。確かに古い屋敷に見えた。すごい。

We drove to Takabocchi.

In the morning, I pedaled for an hour and half. I have lost 2kilos in 2days. At my age, it is very difficult to lose my weight without doing exercise.

We had Kitakata ramen in Shiojiri for lunch. It's been a while since the last time we had the one. It was tasty and we love it. Then we drove to Takabocchi. We didn't expect autumn leaves because the peak season has finished. But golden Japanese larches were very beautiful. I parked my car and took some pictures.


高ボッチドライブ

午前中1時間半MTB漕ぎ。2日間で2Kg体重を減らした。私の年になると、運動せずに体重落とすのは至難の業である。

昼頃、塩尻の喜多方ラーメンを食べに出掛けた。このラーメンを食べるのは随分久しぶり。美味しくて我々のお気に入り。それから高ボッチへドライブへ。シーズンも終わりなので紅葉は期待してなかったが、美しい金色の唐松が見られた。車を停めて何枚か撮影した。

Autumn leaves in Norikura Ichinose Enchi

It was fine day today. My wife and I went to Norikura Ichinose Enchi again. We took a saunter in the park for 2 hours. When we walked around, we saw a big maple tree. We were impressed by the glowing color. I tried to take the picture and the sun went behind a cloud. To take a good picture of autumn leaves, you need full sun. I waited for a while. About 10 minutes later, it broke into sunshine. I released the shutter many times.


再び乗鞍一ノ瀬園地の紅葉

今日は秋晴れ。妻と乗鞍一ノ瀬園地へ再び行った。園内を２時間程散策。歩き回っていると、１本の大きなカエデがあった。燃えるような赤色に感動した。写真を撮ろうとすると、太陽が陰ってしまった。紅葉を綺麗に撮るには、日差しが必要。しばらく待った。約10分後、日差しが出てきた。何度もシャッターを切った。

Snow and autumn leaves in Tsugaike natural park.

My wife and I got up at 4:30am and went to Tsugaike natural park. It is a peak season for autumn leaves in Tsugaike. We thought that the gondola and aerial cableway would be crowded because you can only enjoy autumn leaves for two weeks in Tsugaike. And in Japan, it was a national holiday today. We wanted to beat the rush to the gondola terminal by an hour. So we went to there before the first gondola left. Our thinking was right. Only about 30 people waited in lines before us. We could get on the gondola soon and catch the first cableway.

The white beautiful mountains appeared in front of us as we approached the destination. The scenery was spectacular. I couldn't believe that. It was cold in Tsugaike national park. A part of board walks were frozen and slippy. We ran into a senior worker in there. He is an expert photographer. He said, "I have been to here many times. But it was the greatest day today. You are very lucky." I think so. We enjoyed colorful autumn leaves against the magnificent mountains covered with snow.

But four women died after stormy weather hit the Northern Japan Alps over the weekend. We are thinking of you and praying for you in this time of loss.


栂池自然園の雪と紅葉

妻と4時半起きで栂池自然園へ行った。栂池は紅葉シーズン真っ盛り。しかも栂池で紅葉が楽しめるのはわずか２週間足らず。さらに今日は休日なので、多分ゴンドラとロープウェイが混雑するに違いないと考え、始発1時間前に到着するように行った。その考えは正しかった。約30人程度しか我々の前には並んでおらず、すぐにゴンドラに乗れた。ロープウェイも始発に間に合った。

目的地に近づくにつれ、白い美しい山々が目前に現れた。その景色は壮大だった。信じられない。栂池自然は寒く、木道の一部は凍結していて滑り易かった。また、偶然に会社の先輩に出会った。彼は素晴らしく良い写真を撮る。彼が言うには、彼も何度かここを訪れたが、こんな凄い日は一度も無かったらしい。私は非常にラッキーだそうだ。私もそう思う。我々は雄大な雪山を背景に、彩り豊かな紅葉を楽しんだ。

しかし、週末にかけて北アルプスを直撃した嵐により4人の女性が亡くなられた。ご冥福をお祈りする。
