My new life will start.

I'm going to quit the current company at the end of March and join the new company in Tokyo from April. This is my third career change. I will move to Tokyo two weeks later. But I will keep my current house and use it as a vacation house. From now on, I will spend several days at the vacation house in the consecutive holidays. Maybe I would bump into you somewhere if you were my neighbor.

I'm very busy preparing for a new life. I'm a little tired recently. Changing jobs needs a huge mental strength.


新生活の始まり

今月３月末で今の会社を退職して、４月から東京の新しい会社へ転職する。３度目の転職。２週間後に東京へ引越し。でも今の家は維持し、別荘として使う予定。今後、連休や長い休みはこちらで過ごす予定。多分ご近所にお住まいの方々とは、どこかでお会いするでしょう。

現在は新生活に向けての準備で忙しく、最近ちょっと疲れ気味。転職は強い精神力が必要ですね。

Tokyo Motor Show 2007

Fortunately I had a business trip on November 2. So I took a day off on November 1 and went to the Tokyo Motor Show 2007. Last Wednesday, I left early and went to Tokyo. I stayed at a hotel. The next morning, I arrived at Makuhari Messe one hour before opening.

In this time, the most popular car is NISSAN GT-R. I went to the GT-R booth as fast as I can. It was worth it. I could see the GT-R in the front row. But the more attractive thing was the cut-model of GT-R. I could observe the complicated mechanism. It was great.

I like GT-R. But one thing disappointed me. It was weight. GT-R weighs as much as 1740Kg. I don't think it is appropriate weight as a sports car. It could receive more high acclaim if it would be lighter.

My most favorite was Lotus Elise Supercharged. It is MINICAR-like weight. But the power is 220hp. I think the car is a real sports car.

東京モーターショー 2007

ラッキーなことに、11月2日に出張が入った。それに引っ掛けて11月1日に休みを取り、東京モーターショーへ行った。先週の水曜、早退して東京へ移動。ホテルへ宿泊。翌朝、開場１時間前には幕張メッセに到着。

今回の人気車種はGT-Rだったので、GT-Rのブースへまっしぐら。その甲斐もあり、最前列でゆっくりGT-Rを鑑賞できた。しかし、もっと興味をそそったのがGT-Rのカットモデル。複雑なメカニズムが良く見られて最高。

基本的にGT-Rは好きなのだが、一つだけ残念なことがある。それは1740Kgという重量。これはスポーツカーとしてはちょっとねぇ。もっと軽ければもっと高い評価だっただろうに…。

一番好きな車はロータスエリーゼ。軽自動車並みの重量に220馬力のエンジン。スポーツカーはやはりこうじゃなきゃ…。

My favorite parfait.

I neglected writing the blog for a month. I was not motivated to write the blog after the summer.

Recently I found a cafe. But I don't drink coffee. I prefer green tea rather than coffee. My target is a parfait. The parfait is more than 1000 yen, but it is worth eating. First you would be surprised with the height which is about 50cm. The way of cutting the fruits is artistic. Of course it is tasty as well. There is a little trick to have it. You should eat the slice of apples at the top of the parfait. Then after you finished the cut of the fruits, you can enjoy the stuff in the glass. At this point, you would have had enough. But you still have to eat the vanilla ice cream, nata de coco and strawberry ice cream. The quality of material like ice cream and raw cream is wonderful. I strongly recommend it.

Anyway I've never eaten sweets like this until I got married. My wife made me a sweets junkie.



お気に入りのパフェ

１ヶ月もブログを書くのをサボってしまった。夏が過ぎてから、なかなか書く気が起きなくて…。

最近、珈琲哲学という喫茶店に行くようになった。でも緑茶党の私はコーヒーは飲まない。お目当てはパフェ。この1000円以上するパフェが凄い。先ず50cm近い高さに驚く。フルーツの切り方も芸術的。勿論味も格別。食べ方にもコツが要る。上部のリンゴから食べ、それからカットフルーツを食べる。これでようやくグラス内の物へ。でもこの時点でお腹一杯。まだバニラアイスやナタデココ、ストロベーリーアイスも食べなきゃならない。アイスや生クリームの素材も素晴らしい。是非お試しあれ。

それにしても、結婚するまでこんな甘い物は食べたことがない。私がこんな甘党になったのは妻のせいだ…。

Fireworks

My wife and I enjoyed fireworks. But it is not interesting to play with fireworks commonly. So I tried to write some words with fireworks. Can you read the word of "Love"?
I thought the sparkling fireworks are quiet. But I realized that the sparkling fireworks are very spectacular in the photo.

妻と花火をした。普通にやってはおもしろくないので、文字を書いてみた。"Love"って書いたつもりなんだけど…。
線香花火は地味だとばかり思っていたが、写真に撮ったら意外に派手だということが分かった。

Akasawa woods in Kiso

My wife was in the mood to walk the cold place. So we went to Akasawa woods in Kiso. We got to there before 9:00am. There were many parking spaces available. But in the afternoon, the parking lots were full with the cars.

It was very fine day today. But it was very comfortable to walk because most of the nature trails are covered with hinoki cypress. The air was cold. We couldn't believe that. There are many kinds of trails in Akasawa woods. We have achieved walking the all of the trails. Most of the slopes were the gentle slopes. It was easy to walk.

赤沢自然休養林

妻が涼しい場所を歩きたいと言うので木曽の赤沢自然休養林へ行った。9時前に到着したら駐車場はガラガラ。しかし、お昼頃には満車になっていた。

今日は非常に良い天気で暑かったが、遊歩道はヒノキに覆われているので非常に快適だった。空気がひんやりしている。信じられない。ここにはたくさんのコースがあるが、今日は全コースを制覇した。殆どの坂が緩斜面だったので結構歩くのは楽だった。

I spent all day doing nothing.

It was hot day. I was reluctant to do anything today. In the morning, I watched a few English learning TV programs I recorded. In the afternoon, I took a nap for an hour and half. But it was so hot that I was not able to sleep well. It gets cold at night and is comfortable. My house is not air-conditioned. At this time of year, I want air conditioners. But the period I need air conditioners is only a few weeks. So I didn't buy the air conditioner yet. I have to hang on for more a few weeks. Then it will get cool.



何もしない1日

暑かった。今日は何もやる気がしなかった。午前中は、溜まっていた英会話の番組を何本か見た。午後は昼寝を1時間半ほど。でも暑くて良く寝られなかった。夜は涼しくて快適なのだが。我が家にはエアコンは無し。この時期になるとエアコンは欲しくはなるが、数週間しか稼動しないことを考えると買えない。あと2〜3週間頑張れば涼しくなるだろう。

Kirigamine trek / Shampooed Lisa

I went to Kirigamine to enjoy trekking. I walked around Yashimagahara area today. It was fine day, but I didn't feel hot. Maybe the temperature would be not high because the altitude of this place was high.

The road condition was good as the rainy season had finished. Akabanashimotsuke flowers were in full bloom. Yanagiran flowers have started to bloom. I found Matsumushisou flowers sometimes. The flower is autumn flower. The autumn is coming up soon in the plateau area.

After I came home, I shampooed Lisa. It's been a year since the last time I shampooed her. Her hair became wooly like a stuffed animal. And she gave off a good smell.



霧ヶ峰トレッキング / Lisaをシャンプー

霧ヶ峰へトレッキングに行った。今日は八島ヶ原近辺を散策。晴れていたが、あまり暑さは感じなかった。多分標高が高かったからかもしれない。

梅雨も上がり、歩道のコンディションは良好。アカバナシモツケは満開、ヤナギランも咲き始めていた。時々マツムシソウが咲いているのを見かけた。この花は秋の花。高原の秋はもうそこまで来ている。

帰宅後、１年ぶりにLisaをシャンプーした。ぬいぐるみのようなほわほわの毛になり、いい匂いになった。

My summer vacation has begun.

My summer vacation has begun from today. In the morning, I had the antifreeze liquid of the heating system exchanged. The antifreeze liquid has to be exchanged once every three years. In this time, I had the maintenance as well. There were no problems. In the afternoon, I went shopping and bought glosseries.

Especially, I have no plan on this summer vacation. I have the TOEIC English proficiency test at the end of the month. Maybe my work will be hectic after this vacation. I should prepare for the exam.


夏休みスタート

今日から夏休みが始まった。午前中は自宅のセントラルヒーティングの不凍液を交換してもらった。不凍液は3年に1回は交換する必要がある。今回は保守点検もお願いした。特に問題は無かった。午後は食料品の買い物へ。

この夏休みの予定は特に無し。月末にはTOEICのテストがある。多分休み明けは仕事が忙しくなりそうなので、準備をしておいた方が良さそうだ。

THE VILLAGE OF LILY

My wife and I went to THE VILLAGE OF LILY in FUJIMI KOGEN again. Only the farthest parking lots were available. I parked there. It was fine when I got to there. After a while, there was shower. So I took a rest and was waiting for the rain stops. About 30 minutes later, the sky was starting to clear up. I started to walk around the garden.

There were many kinds of flowers and they were in full bloom. The lilies were very gorgeous. I've never seen the sight like this.

ゆりの里

妻と再び富士見高原ゆりの里へ行った。一番通り駐車場だけが空いていたのでそこへ駐車。着いた時は晴れていたのに、しばらくするとにわか雨。仕方がないのでレストハウスで休憩して雨が止むのを待った。30分もすると晴れ間が見えてきたので、再び散策を開始。

たくさんの種類のゆりが満開。豪華の一言。こんな光景は見たことが無かった。

A three-day weekend

Luckily, I hvae a three-day weekend this week. It was fine day today even though it was in the middle of rainy season. So my wife and I went to Kirigamine to enjoy Nikkoukisuge flowers. I thought it would be very crowded there. But today was a weekday. It would be all right if I got to there before 7am. I realized that I was wrong when I got to there. The parking lot was full with the cars. It was before 7am! I couldn't believe that. Fortunately, a car pulled out of the parking lot. I could pull into there.

Nikkoukisuge flowers were in full bloom now. I went to there last year as well. It seems that there were many flowers more than last year.

3連休

ラッキーなことに今週は3連休。しかも梅雨なのに晴れ。なので妻と霧ヶ峰へニッコウキスゲを見に行った。多分混むと思ったが、平日なので7時前に着けば大丈夫だろうと思った。しかし、その考えは甘かった。朝7時前なのに既に駐車場は満車！信じられない。幸い、１台が出たのでそこへ駐車した。

ニッコウキスゲは満開だった。昨年より、今年は花の付きが良いように思えた。
