His name is Kenich Omae.
彼の名前は大前研一さんです。

He is a management consultant.
彼は経営コンサルタントです。

Since he used to be a nuclear reactor designer, he offered these suggestions to the Minister Hosono on October 28th of last year.
かつて原子炉設計師をしていたことがあるのでこの提言を昨年１０月２８日に細野大臣に提出しました。

In Japan many meetings are being held by to research the accident at the Fukushima No1 nuclear power plant.
日本ではたくさん福島第一原発に関して調査する会議がおこなわれています。

But this was held confidentially to avoid causing concern.
しかし、これはいかなる影響をさけて秘密裏におこなわれました。

To my surprise, the work was done by volunteers.
驚くことにボランティアだったのです。

I just learned about it yesterday.
わたしは昨日知ったばかりです。

I want many people to watch it and feel strongly concerned about nuclear power plants.
多くの人がこれを見て原発に対し懸念してほしいと思います。
