Oct 11th was my grandmother's 96 years old birthday. I presented her with a stole dyed with Japanese cypress, which was made by my hand.It is a plant dyeing only one in the world, and a remarkable piece of work lined up in the forest. When making the dyeing, unpicking rubbers was so hard work since I made it bound too strong.


Several years ago, I gave my grandma a question  What was the gladdest event

in your 90 years or more?


She answered slowly “It was the event that my son, your father, was born”

Then, I asked “What was the next one?”

She said “It was that my grandchildren were born”
