Very strange weather, last week was pretty hot as it should be in mid July, on Friday temperature
suddenly dropped from over 30℃ to just around 20℃, forecast said it's like backed to early
May, but it would not stop us to fish. Last weekend we fished together in Tono, since our
fishing trip to Croatia a couple of years ago, when he lived in Frankfurt and I lived in Moscow.
As he is an extremely busy executive, we have chatted over a few beers, in these years after
we both were back to Japan.
On the way to the river was actually not so bad, light rain only. We checked main river before
buying a day ticket and found the water was a little bit muddy but it should be ok to fish on
tributaries in high mountain. Long way up the mountain winding load, we finally got to the tributary
and sadly found a car at the parking right where we want to fish. No idea if he went up or down,
it seems like bait angler so we decided to up from parking. Light rain, soon my friend got a
bite right next to parking, at this moment I did not know what's going happen in the afternoon,
and I was planning to fish upper stretch in the morning then lower in the afternoon.

Not really good as a few weeks ago, only a few occasional bites, no bite at good pools because
of low temperature, rain or bait angler? In this kind of condition a bite is very important and
we know we should carefully fish, but actuary I missed two bites. We saw a big mayfly was flying
on the tributary, as it also thought it's like early May? Suddenly rain became very heavy, so
we backed to the parking. While we were having lunch, a bite angler came back to parking and
I chatted with him. He was probably an hour ahead of us and started from parking. After hearing
this I was very confident lower stretch would be good as no one fished.

We waited for a while, luckily rain became light and we walked down a little bit. As it's imagined
fish were active and liked to bite. After I hooked up a fish which was loosed immediately, all
of sudden water got very dark and muddy, impossible to fish any more. We wish if we could
fish at least another one hour, but...
I will be back soon!
