Due to heavy snow, all highway was closed and we heard it would be open in the afternoon.
Nothing to do except fishing so we decided to fish Tilapia in the small irrigation canal, guided
by a local flyfisher. Tilapia is well known African fish and now widely farmed for food recourses.
In Japan this fish was imported after the World War ¶and spread out mainly south part of Japan,
like Kochi which is so called the Southern country in Japan!!
After the breakfast, we bought a pack of toast for chum and started fishing right next to high
school and road. In shallow water we could see many fish but very sensitive like big trout in the
river. When we walked close to the water they moved away or swam into deep place. Chumming
over 30 minutes, finally some fish started to eat small bits of toast, still spooky. Luckily I got
two baby fish, but it's quite difficult.

Highway was still closed and we had to drive really long way to Kobe along the coast, 7 hours drive.
When I backed to Yokohama, it was also snow.
Special thanks to Mr. Goblin, maybe we should try in June or July again.
