脊髄（せきずい）の手術で約２カ月入院した。大きな病院のせいか、
医師との意思疎通に不安と不満が残った半面、看護師の仕事ぶりに感心した。
日常の決まった仕事をこなしながら、次々と飛び込むナースコールに
１秒でも早く応えようと懸命だ。駆け足で仕事をしている。
特に人数の少ない夜勤の看護師は、懐中電灯片手に病棟を飛び回っている印象だった。
そんなわけで、足腰に不安のあるわが整形外科病棟の患者たちの話題は
「ナースステーション付近は危ない」というものだった。飛び出してくる看護師と衝突し、
転倒でもしたら大変、というわけだ。もちろん冗談だが、急性期病棟の
看護師の仕事がかなり過酷だというのは、多くの患者仲間の実感だった。
地方の、特に中小の病院では、医師だけではなく
看護師不足も深刻だという。半面、離職者も多いと聞く。
国の医療費抑制、ハードな仕事、子育てとの両立など、さまざまな問題が指摘されている。

What's it like to be a nurse in a Japanese hospital? Shukan Tokuho (3/22) delved into data from the Ministry of Health and Welfare and other sources to produce 19 tasty bits of "trivia" --- information about the lives of angels of mercy. Taken together, the items are certainly not the sort of thing that would encourage a young woman to take up nursing as a career. In fact, some are downright embarrassing. For instance, nursing school students are taught to regard the anus as a barometer of health. And to put this theory into practice, the students are obliged peer up the backsides of their fellow classmates as part of their training.
日本の病院においてナースとはどういう存在なのか。
週間特報(3/22)は厚生省やその他のソースを徹底的に調査し、19の美味しいトリビア、
つまり心優しい天使達の生活に関する情報を紹介した。得られた情報を総合すると、
これらのトリビアはこれからナースになって経験をつもうという若い女性達を
勇気付けるような話ではない。むしろそれは実際にはまぎれもない、
恥ずかしくて直視できないようなものだった。
たとえば、看護学校の生徒は肛門を健康のバロメーターとしてみることを教えられる。

"We used a tool to spread it open, and then perform a check all the way to where it puckers," recalls a 28-year-old graduate student. "I was so mortified, I was almost ready to drop out and return home."

Despite the flaws in the system, Shukan Tokuho acknowledges that nursing can be a singularly demanding life. With irregular shifts brought on by personnel shortages, the ladies in white may put in as many as 14 hours a day, and because meals tend to be grabbed on the run, the average nurse is said to loose as much as 5 kilograms of her body weight during the first two years on the job. Even during the first months of their own pregnancies, nurses may be required to attend expectant mothers in labor and in the delivery room --- which for reasons unknown seems to have resulted in a higher than normal percentage of miscarriages or abnormalities among nurses themselves. The years of physical and psychological stress, moreover may very well take a severe toll on their health; a career in the medical profession, the article suggests, may shorten average life expectancy by between three to five years.

つまり、現状でWaiWaiオリジナルと『WaiWai→ロシア語→英語』という過程を経たもののふたつのソースを持ち合わせているわけです。
現在2chなどで広まる見出しと異なる点がありますのでまず指摘しておきます。
日本の看護婦が大人のオモチャをバッグに入れて持ち運びしているという文章がロシア語経由版のほうにはあります。

毎日新聞は「看護師」に対し、猥褻なイメージを否定しないと言う事ですよね。
ならば、いくらこの記者が「白衣の天使」と誉め讃えても
気味の悪いヨイショ記事になってしまうのは当然の事ですよね。
