Today, I'd like to share some English phrases on Christmas card.
Sending Christmas card or message is not as common (or popular) as sending New year card in Japan.
However, when I go to a stationary shop in Japan, I often have a chance to see some Christmas cards.
So even though it's a bit late to bring up this topic, today let's learn some English that you can write on Christmas cards or on text messages!
Of course, you can simply write "Merry Christmas" on a card but here are other ways to say "Merry Christmas"...
・Wish you a very Merry Christmas.
・May the light of Christmas bring hope and peace in your life. Merry Christmas!
・Wishing you all the joys of Christmas and happiness through the new year.
・Don’t let the happy events happen only once a year; spread it out throughout the year.
・It’s Christmas time again – feel the magic, feel the joy, feel the glow and see the beauty around you.

クリスマスカードは年賀状に比べてまだ日本では馴染みが薄いですが、文房具屋さんに行くといろいろなクリスマスカードが置いてあるところもあります。
今日は少しこのトピックを取り上げるのに遅くなりましたが、クリスマスカードもしくはE-mailや携帯のメッセージで使える英語表現を学んでいきたいと思います。
クリスマスに使える英語表現なので、シンプルに"Merry Christmas"でも良いのですが、他の表現とては以下のような表現も使えます。
・Wish you a very Merry Christmas.
・May the light of Christmas bring hope and peace in your life. Merry Christmas!
・Wishing you all the joys of Christmas and happiness through the new year.
・Don’t let the happy events happen only once a year; spread it out throughout the year.
