This Saruhashi was purchased at a small art dealer shop on 55th Street, New York City in 1955 together with 2 Sharakus by my 91 years old father, Frank Minoru Kawamoto, a Nisei. This piece has been included in several Hiroshige Exhibits in Japan and included in their respected catalogues , one of them being “Hiroshige Exibit” at the Ginza Matsuya Department Store in Tokyo.
