It's been long time already since the day I went to watch the play
at the Theater Cocoon, Shibuya, Tokyo.
This year's Cocoon Kabuki organized Kanzaburo Nakamura, directed by Kazumi Kushida was different
from the ones in the past; rap parts in the kabuki play by Seiko Ito.
"Sakura Gimin-den (The Saga of Sakura the Martyr) is a legend of 17 century in Japan, a village mayor name of Sogo, near Narita city today,
made direct appeal to Shogun about heavy tax on farmers and numbers of death due to starvation.
The direct appeal to Shogun in the era meant death penalty by governor of his feudal domain.
In this play, MC IKKU and Mr. Tom from the movie "8000 miles/ Saitama no Rapper" were lead rappers
represented the voices of farmers.
Actually I wished I could make loud shout (kakegoe, one of kabuki tradition, mostly heard from male theatergoers to express audience's appreciation, especially at climax) for MC IKKU and Mr. Tom.
Their performance undoubtedly enhanced dynamism of the story.

After got chinese tea leaves for souvenir,
we went to have Hunan restaurant on the same street, Mao Ming South Road (茂名南路), Di Shui Dong(滴水洞湘菜馆).

Spareribs seasoned with cumin sead, hao chi!
We also had a garlic stalk with bacon.
Since I was child, I love seasoned spareribs and garlic stalk.
I didn't know Thai people don't eat garlic stalk.
I don't know why, but I heard that Zhangjiajie in Hunan province is attractive destination for Thai people.
