“Samgyeopsel" at Matchan restaurant in Korean town

Last night I dined at "Matchan"「味ちゃん」restaurant in Shinokubo Korean town.

Main dish was called “Samgyepsal”, BBQ of pork belly in Korean style. 

Meats were astonishingly bulky!
Although meats had very thick fat layer, they tasted non-fatty when baked.
Samgyeopsal was wonderful. Gomtang and other foods were also nice.
Of course”Chamisoeul” Korean distilled spirit was very good!

What　surprised me last night was that restaurants in Shinokubo Korean town enjoyed very high popularity especially by young girls.
My friend tried to book a table at a couple of restaurants but all of them had been fully booked.
 We went to Matchan restaurant and waited in a queue for nearly an hour until to be seated.

Inside was full of young girls. Most of them were enjoying Samgyepsal.
Situation of restaurants nearby were almost the same. Korean foods, culture are getting increasingly popular among Japanese younger generation. That's good!
